Walt Strony talks to the audience during a concert on Opus 1836
Opus 1836 was installed in the Stanley Theatre in Jersey City New Jersey in 1928, hense the title Stanley Style. Wurlitzer started with a large 4 manual console and then stuffed it with goodies, it was a good example of the builder's modern work. Only three were built. Originally 27 ranks, the specification below is from the current installation at the Meijer Theatre in Grand Rapids Michigan. When the organ was installed in the Roaring Twenties Pizza restaurant there were some additions bringing it to 33 ranks including a new Trumpet En Chamade from Austin and gold plated toe studs. Currently it is 30 ranks.
