USING THIS PUPPY
Once you have booted, go to the menu (task bar pops up or Rt-click on desktop) and start QJackctl from the multimedia menu. This starts Jack, Qsynth and jconvolver. They minimise themselves.
ONLY THEN
Start your Miditzer of choice from the desktop (Single click only in puppy)
Close Miditzer before you start another (no need to restart Jack unless you reboot)

CAVEATS:
This puppy is still considered experimental so YMMV.
ROX filemanager works differently to Windows.
Linux Audio can be tricky to set up

If you start Miditzer without having started Jack, you risk overwriting your configuration file. If you open Miditzer first, DON'T CLOSE it - drag Miditzer to the bottom of the screen, open the menu and find LXtask in the system config menu and open it. Rt-click on the Miditzer entry, choose kill and confirm. If something goes wrong, there are copies of the XML config files in the MZDocs folder. Copy the one you need into the home (root) folder.
To copy in puppy, open two filemanager windows (click file icon twice), navigate one window to MZdocs and drag the XML file you want to the other window. Choose "copy" from the popup menu and then "yes" to overwrite.

The puppy installer is available. So is the Bootflash utility that will make a USB flash drive bootable and install puppy onto it.
The iso file will be available later today when I have bandwidth to upload it. I'll post the link when I've done that. Remember, this is an experiment so no guarantees etc.
